South Africa’s commercial cinematographer and Godox ambassador. Cinema body, one L-series zoom, one Godox key. The kit he actually takes to set, at CameraTek.
Gabriel Mc Creadie, founder of CINE-ONE, has chosen three pieces for hybrid cinema work: the Canon EOS C50 with free Rode mics, the RF 24–70mm f/2.8L, and the Godox Litemons LA600R with a free modifier. CameraTek is putting that kit in front of you, plus more Canon and Godox below.
A compact Cinema EOS body, one L-series 24–70mm that stays on all day, and a 600W Godox RGB key that can overpower a room or paint colour without a truck of lights.
Three campaign specials: C50 with free Rode mics, the RF 24–70mm f/2.8L, and the LA600R with a free Godox modifier.
The camera at the centre of the kit. Full-frame 7K Cinema EOS in a body you can handheld all day, with Open Gate, Dual Pixel AF II and dual XLR when the interview starts. CameraTek’s current C50 special includes free Rode wireless mics, so audio is in the bag from day one.
The one lens that stays on the C50. Wide enough for the room, long enough for a face, and constant f/2.8 so exposure does not jump when you push in. Nano USM keeps focus silent on dialogue, 5-stop IS holds handheld B-roll, and L-series weather sealing means it can work a full commercial day.
The light. A 600W RGB-W COB that can key an interview, overpower mixed interior light, or throw colour without gels. 1800–10,000K, HSI / RGBW / GEL / FX modes, CRI/TLCI 95, and Bowens-mount so it takes a softbox. This campaign includes a free Godox modifier with the LA600R.
Canon stills bodies and RF zooms, then Godox on-camera flashes for Canon and the light kits CameraTek stocks alongside Gabriel’s three.
Canon’s video-first V-series hybrid. 32.5MP, 7K RAW, 4K 120p with no crop, Open Gate and 7.5-stop IBIS.
Flagship stills-and-video body when the brief needs resolution the C50 is not built to pull.
The latest R6 stills hybrid. Stacked sensor, 40fps, oversampled 4K 60p and 8.5-stop IBIS.
The other L-series zoom. Reach for interviews, details and compressed B-roll on the same RF mount.
Constant f/4 L-series walkaround. Extra reach when one zoom on a stills body needs to cover the day.
The kit zoom on RF. Same f/2.8L glass if you are pairing a second Canon body with the C50.
Round-head TTL flash for Canon. Bounce, modelling lamp and magnetic modifiers on an R6 or R5.
AA-powered TTL speedlight for Canon EOS. The workhorse on-camera flash for stills and events.
100W/s Li-ion TTL flash for Canon. More output than a speedlight when you need to overpower sun.
Three 300Ws strobes with stands and modifiers. Key, fill and hair for studio portraits.
Three 400Ws monolights. More punch for bigger rooms, product tables and group stills.
Two bi-colour LED fixtures. Continuous video light when you want tungsten-to-daylight without RGB.
Campaign stills from the CINE-ONE studio: C50, RF 24–70mm and the Litemons LA600R under the same red Godox light.
Three pieces built around how Gabriel actually works: a cinema body, one zoom that stays on, and a 600W Godox that can key or colour.
A collage from the campaign: the C50 rig, the 24–70mm, and the LA600R throwing colour.
