Trading terms

Camera Tek has branches in Johannesburg and Durban.

Orders can be placed online or directly with one of our staff members.

Customers can choose to collect from any of our branches or to select the courier option at a fee.We do offer Free shipping on orders over R1000.00

Payment can be made by credit card or EFT.


For EFT payments, goods will only be released once funds have cleared in the bank account.

Once payment is received we will do our best to get the order delivered to you within 2-3 working days if you are based in a main centre.

Orders to outlying areas could take up to 3-5 working days to be delivered.

Orders will be dispatched from Monday to Friday between 8 am and 4.30pm. No orders are sent over weekends and public holidays.Orders placed before 2 PM will be shipped on the day of the order.

If for any reason stock is not immediately available clients will be advised and given the option of delayed delivery or a refund.

 Return and Refunds policy
The provision of goods and services by Cameratek is subject to availability. In cases of unavailability, Cameratek will refund the client
in full within 30 days. 

Customer Privacy policy
Cameratek shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, "personal
information" shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). The PAIA may be downloaded from:

Payment options accepted
Payment may be made via Visa, MasterCard, or by EFT 

Card acquiring and security
Card transactions will be acquired for Cameratek via PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for all South African
Acquiring Banks. DPO PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no Card details are stored on the
website. Users may go to www.paygate.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.

Customer details separate from card details
Customer details will be stored by Cameratek separately from card details which are entered by the client on DPO PayGate’s secure site.

Merchant Outlet country and transaction currency
The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction currency is
South African Rand (ZAR).

Responsibility
Cameratek takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website,
customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods.

Country of domicile
This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and  Cameratek chooses as its domicile citation ET execution for all purposes under
this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature

Variation
Cameratek may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.
