Return and Refund Policy
Thank you for shopping at Camera tek.
If for any reason, You are not completely satisfied with your purchase We invite You to review our policy on refunds and returns.
To be eligible for a return, You will need to provide your original invoice, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original, un-damaged packaging.
Refunds are offered as a store credit or a refund via EFT.
For online purchases, refunds will be issued using the payment method that was used upon checkout or a gift card will be issued.
Where applicable, we reserve the right to issue a store credit or gift card instead of a refund or deduct an administrative fee from the refund, which will be disclosed after inspection.
Some types of goods are exempt from being returned.
Non-returnable items:
* Gift cards
* Downloadable software products
* Magazines
*Books and guides
* Film
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and we will either repair, replace, or credit your account.
If a refund is due, we will process the claim within 10 business days from the date of inspecting the return. All refunds are done via EFT. If you have paid for a purchase using a Gift Voucher, then any refund for the purchase will be credited to the Gift Voucher. If you have paid for a purchase using both a Gift Voucher and a credit/debit card, then any refund for the purchase will be made first to the credit/debit card (up to the value paid for by credit/debit card), and then to the Gift Voucher.
Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange unless it falls under the provisions of the Consumer Protection Act.
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@cameratek.co.za and send your item to 226 Harry Sneech Rd, Strydompark, Randburg, , 2169, South Africa.
Shipping
To return your product, you should return or courier your product to Camera tek, 226 Harry Sneech Rd, Strydompark, Randburg, GT, 2169, South Africa ( Randburg Branch) or 1 Torsvale Crescent, La Lucia Office Estate, Office 3G, La Lucia Ridge , Umhlanga, 4319 ( Durban branch). We cannot be held responsible for goods damaged or lost in return shipment. Therefore, We recommend an insured and trackable courier service.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
For items being exchanged, the client is liable for the courier fee for both the return and resending of the new replacement item.
For online orders or orders that have been shipped, we reserve the right to charge/deduct a courier Fee for the delivery costs from your refund.
If the product is damaged in any way, or you have initiated the return after 30 calendar days have passed, you will not be eligible for a refund.
We are committed to operating our business in terms of the Consumer Protection Act and all policies are subject to the applicable law.
Camera tek reserves the right to make changes to this policy, and any changes to this policy will be posted accordingly.
