Gabriel Mc Creadie — founder of CINE-ONE — has chosen three pieces for hybrid cinema work: the Canon EOS C50, the RF 24–70mm f/2.8L, and the Godox Litemons LA600R. CameraTek is putting that kit in front of you, piece by piece.
A compact Cinema EOS body, one L-series 24–70mm that stays on all day, and a 600W Godox RGB key that can overpower a room or paint colour without a truck of lights.
Three products. One cinema camera, one L-series zoom that covers wide to short tele, and one Godox light that is both key and colour.
The camera at the centre of the kit. Full-frame 7K Cinema EOS in a body you can handheld all day, with Open Gate, Dual Pixel AF II and dual XLR when the interview starts. Dual Base ISO (800/6400), 15+ stops of dynamic range, and CameraTek’s C50 package includes Rode wireless mics — so audio is in the bag from day one.
The one lens that stays on the C50. Wide enough for the room, long enough for a face, and constant f/2.8 so exposure does not jump when you push in. Nano USM keeps focus silent on dialogue, 5-stop IS holds handheld B-roll, and L-series weather sealing means it can work a full commercial day.
The light. A 600W RGB-W COB that can key an interview, overpower mixed interior light, or throw colour without gels. 1800–10,000K, HSI / RGBW / GEL / FX modes, CRI/TLCI 95, and Bowens-mount so it takes the modifiers already on a CameraTek stand. App, DMX or NFC control — one fixture instead of a key plus a gelled RGB.
