Their 6' close-focus distance is ideal for watching nearby birds, animals or insects. They come with a Vortex GlassPak harness for comfortable use during hours of observation.
The Crossfire HD delivers views with minimal chromatic aberration, exceptional color fidelity, edge-to-edge sharpness, and optimal light transmission through the use of high-definition glass, an index-matched lens configuration, an XR Plus anti-reflective coating, and phase-correcting roof prisms. The housing is nitrogen-filled for fog and waterproof performance, and rubber armored for a non-slip grip. The short bridge provides plenty of space for your hands, and the large focusing knob is easy to use, even while wearing gloves. Twist-down eye cups accommodate users who wear glasses. For hands-free use and the steadiest view, the Crossfire HD can be mounted on a tripod using the separately sold tripod adapter.
